Vivino has entertained since 1969, including five summers at the original Gaslight Village of Lake George. She has brought in “Uncle” Floyd Vivino from New Jersey. Roth performs primarily in one-woman shows, portraying a variety of musical characters such as Barbra Streisand, Judy Garland, Bette Midler, Connie Francis and comic characters of her own creation. Long before Lady Gaga, her outrageous costumes, destroying sets, and political comments to the audience resulted in her being the highest paid star of vaudeville Anna Held, Flo Ziegfeld’s wife, famous for her daily “milk baths” and more Vesta Victoria, direct from England, in her outrageous costume legendary “Funny Girl,” Fannie Brice. Roth has done extensive research into the greatest female singing stars of the vaudeville era, including the “I Don’t Care Girl” Eva Tanguay. There will also be a Sunday matinee at 2 p.m. The lobby card is stamped by the Empire Theater, a former vaudeville house in Glens Falls, as well as an actual early Empire Theater program. In the lobby, the original lobby card for Douglas Fairbanks in “The Thief of Bagdad” will be displayed. Roth will be using staging, billboards and other mechanisms to reproduce the way vaudeville looked and sounded.

Roth will portray, in specially designed costumes, the greatest female names of vaudeville, including Eva Tanguay, Vesta Victoria, Anna Held, Fannie Brice and others. This unique show will feature music rarely heard today and vaudeville sketches not seen in 100 years.
